WHAT THE CLIMATE IS LIKE – WHAT YOU NEED TO BUY
When you are either taking a vacation to Oregon, or making the permanent relocation to the state, you are going to have to consider the weather, and climate changes, in order to have the proper attire year round. Whether you are going to need heavier winter coats if you are moving up from a southern state, or whether you need some new clothes for the summer and fall, you are going to find that there is a mixed climate zone in Oregon. So, depending on the time of year, you are going to find extremely cold temperatures, or the warmest of days where you want nothing more than a short pair of shorts and a tank top on.
So, you are going to want a varied closet full of clothing when moving to Oregon. The winters are typically pretty mild, but if moving up from a southern state, you are going to find that the weather is colder than you are used to. So, a few new winter coats might be needed. For the fall and summer, the weather is usually in the upper 70s to mid 80s, but a few days can get pretty excrutiating out, so you want a little of everything in the closet.
